...is what I get when I get nervous!!! Our baseball game was going along, we would score the other team would score. A real "barn burner". Everything changed in the 6th and last inning. We tied the score. They got up and we were getting outs...than all the sudden the two most dreaded words at a baseball park, "heads up". I turn around and the woman sitting right behind me gets cracked in the back of the head. I truly think she has a skull fracture. It hit so hard, thankfully, there are plenty of fire fighters, nurses, etc. The ambulance came just as her grandson was up to bat. Poor thing, he ended up getting walked and going to the hospital with his grandmother.
Back to the 7th and last inning. We were the visitors because during tournament play the team with the most wins is the home team. So, we are up we end up scoring 2 more runs and hold them the bottom of the 7th for WIN!!! We now play Tuesday, we play the 2nd place team. Karma is on our side....we can do it.
****Nicky had a tough time at the plate tonight...time to hit the batting cage again!
