Last night Eddis wanted to watch a movie, for those of you that really know Eddis, this is not something he does. He just is not a movie watcher. We watched Gran Torino and it was really good. I love the Clint Eastwood character. Eddis and I would look at each and giggle through part of it...there were some really funny parts. I am just not a "violent" movie watcher. I don't like all the shooting.
Tonight, we start city tournaments for baseball. Nick has a game tonight and Thursday. They are off for the 4th of July weekend. Ed and the boys are heading down to the lake on Friday morning. Mimi and I are staying back and we are just fine with that.
We won our first game in the city tournament, we play again, Thursday evening. Just a little side note....wondering when my deck is going to get done..... Nick had a good game. There is a little All-Star game on Sunday, in which, Nick was picked as the 5th player on the team. He will not be back for the game. One of the boyspicked before him is not a very good player and the boy that hit a home-run last night didn't get picked. This is what happens when you let the players pick their team-mates...it is a popularity contest. All is well. He is a very solid player, which usually does not stand out. He gets a hit to score a run or will get walked. He rarely strikes out and when he does Eddis takes him the batting cage, until he stops "pulling head".
I am off to my first of many I am sure, Chiropractic appointments. We will see how this goes. I figure it can't hurt, right?????
