We have had a busy weekend. It was our darling daughter's 1st Communion on Saturday night. What an important day in the life of a child. They receive the body and blood of Christ for the first time. It was a beautiful day...I felt like the mother of the bride at one point in the day. It was a little crazy, all the pageantry that seems to go along with 1st Communion.
MaryElizabeth looked beautiful. I didn't really take any pictures because I had my personal photog with me. She warned me, she is VERY far behind on her pictures. I couldn't believe the photo snob actually was going to load the pictures directly from her camera to my computer, but I did not want THAT responsibility!
We had a lovely dinner of sushi and taco bar...YES, you did read that right! Everything turned out beautiful, it better have, I had everything planned to finest detail! The lemon drop martinis were flowing like crazy and a good time was had by all.
I will post pictures as soon as I receive them.
I did receive my new camera yesterday...I am going to spend some time today looking at it. MaryElizabeth is going to the doctor this afternoon, she has been sick since Thursday and not getting any better.
